ADAPT is a joint venture between Lilla Wicki, the Swiss Paraplegic Foundation (SPF), Yannick Aellen (founder and director of Mode Suisse) and the Schweizerische Textilfachschule STF. It is a unique project, in which designers, students and people with spinal cord injuries work together to create stylish and functional clothing for wheelchair users.

The capsule collection, developed by fashion designer Lilla Wicki and her team of recent graduates, was presented as part of Mode Suisse 2023 and won the 'Special Mention' jury price in the categorey Inclusive Design at this years' Design Preis Schweiz awards.

The project aims to sensitise both designers and the clothing industry to the needs of people with paraplegia and to combine design and function.
