These textile repeats, commissioned by Schweizerische Textilfachschule STF, were inspired by a visit to Swiss Textile Collection's historic archives. The design process involved reprinting the archive's wooden clichés on paper and scanning them in afterwards to create a digital pattern hybrid. The grainy aesthetic of the paper prints as well as the undulating lines of the curved wood blocks both informed the motifs selected and transformed in this digital mash-up series.

Mitlödi Textildruck printed the final designs on satin silk, a material which was thereafter made available for the students to be incorporated in their 'Memories of the Future' collections for Spring Summer 2021:
